Product Manager will sit within our Global Merchandise Services (GMS) team. GMS helps brands bring their fan communities products that unleash badge-wearing potential, so the people who love them most can love them even more.

Position Overview:
This dynamic individual will be responsible for identifying and developing product opportunities to satisfy market needs. This position will partner closely with internal cross functions (Creative / Program / Supply Chain etc.) to develop product portfolios that maximizes business opportunities meanwhile following our customer’s brand guidelines.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
Product Management
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and execute market centric product strategy following company business objectives
- Market & Customer Insights: conduct in-depth market research, analyze competitor activities and gather voice of customer to identify business opportunities and deliver product solution accordingly
- Product Lifecycle Management: based on product performance & market research, evaluate product lifecycle stage and take lead on kicking off New Product Development (NPD), correspondingly adjust existing product position, product lifting or propose exit plan
- Cross Functional Partnership: collaborate closely with internal cross functional stakeholders including Creative, Program, NPD, Supply Chain, Marketing etc. to deliver smooth and efficient business solution to customer
- Competition: Understand competitor’s product, brand positioning, price, promotions, channels of distribution, strengths and weaknesses
- Sell Through analysis: Collect and analyse product sell through performance, understand internal and external key impact factors
- Overall relationship management with key stakeholders from customer end
Product Development
- Owning full Merchandise product line (both Serveware & Lifestyle) development & delivery for Japan market, by creating customized product solution (assortment planning) with CMF (color, material, finish) and artwork applications
- Leading in create and deliver compelling product proposals with strong story telling and local relevancy by Promotion & by Product
- Sample review and management, coordinate improvement and follow up with key stakeholders to fulfil customer needs, take accountability for final sample delivery and hit rate
- Ensure products align with customer overall brand strategy and product policy
- Co-work with Commercial team to ensure proposal delivery meets organization profit target
- Identify immediate, short and long term product opportunities that composes market centric product mapping and strategy
- Work closely with commercial team to support potential new customer needs
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- Deep understanding of local culture, good sense of market, design & fashion trend, strong consumer insights observations
- Wide knowledgeable with consumer goods industry, strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market research
- Excellent written and oral communication skills that allows working efficiently with customer and cross functions
- Being able to organize, prioritize, and manage multi projects simultaneously
- Being result driven and able to take ownership, by having problem solving mindset and good timeline management
And we’d love you to have…
- Minimum 5+ year experience in merchandising, product management or other related fields
- English and Mandarin Chinese language proficiency is a must
- Fashion, design, graphics work knowledge as a plus
- Team leadership experience as a plus
- Passion, ambitious, strong self-motivation, excellent communication skills, result oriented and good team work
