Job Summary:

  • Conduct all aspects of inspections including product pre-shipment inspection (Final Random Inspection (FRI)), production in-process inspection, and client’s sample review
  • Follow up on quality issues, e.g., Intervention test failure, customer complaint, etc.

 

Job Relationships

Internal – Quality & Safety Teams / Supply Chain / Production Engineering

External – Manufacturing Vendors

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Perform inspection and tests on outgoing finished products
  • Perform in-process inspections at different production processes and stages
  • Communicate to the factory and report on the inspection results
  • Conduct the factory production processes from in-process to finished goods
  • Work with factory QC on continuous improvement activities
  • Perform simple audit of the factories by walking around and take note of any non- compliance issues and report them
  • Communicate and resolve any issue arising from aesthetics with factory and TMS QC
  • Responsible for the Quality Control of the factory assigned to and may be rotated to another factory in regular intervals

 

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • At least 5 years relevant Quality Control inspector experience in toys industry
  • Completed Secondary school education

 

 

    Job Knowledge/Skills

  • Able to communicate in written English and local language
  • Knowledge of toys manufacturing processes, procedures and best practices is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player

 

 

Other Requirements

  • High integrity and ethics
  • Able and willing to travel within China as required
  • Willing to travel to other Asia countries is preferred
