WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE
As a Business Application Manager focused on our global supply chain operations, you will play a pivotal role in helping tms evolve its technology landscape—driving digitization, improving data visibility, and enabling smarter, more agile decision-making.
This is a high-impact, individual contributor role where you’ll partner closely with the Head of Supply Chain, global sourcing teams, and external vendors. You will identify and prioritize areas for digital transformation, own key initiatives (such as vendor management tools and cost analytics platforms), and help modernize how our business engages with data and technology.
You’ll also contribute to our broader transformation strategy by supporting projects such as a new PLM implementation, integrating with analytics platforms, and enabling AI/ML-driven insights in supply and demand planning.
If you’re passionate about improving business outcomes through smart tools and collaborative execution, this is the role for you.
You bring a thoughtful mix of product management acumen, technical knowledge, and supply chain insight. You’re comfortable moving between big-picture vision and tactical execution—aligning global stakeholders, defining business cases, and working with engineering and vendor partners to bring solutions to life.
Your background in manufacturing-adjacent or logistics-heavy environments means you understand the pressures of complex, global supply chains. You know the challenges—and the opportunities—in turning legacy processes into modern, data-driven systems.
And most of all, you’re someone who gets things done, builds trust across teams, and helps organizations evolve, one meaningful step at a time.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
- Develop and own the digital roadmap for supply chain technology in partnership with business leaders.
- Drive implementation of tools like a cost analytics platform, vendor management system, and reporting dashboards for supply chain leadership.
- Act as business lead for PLM and Cost analytics tool rollouts, ensuring integration and user adoption.
- Translate operational needs into business and technical requirements; create business cases to advocate for new tools or engineering support.
- Lead vendor selection, contracting, and ongoing vendor relationship management.
- Collaborate across time zones with global teams in North America, China, and Southeast Asia.
- Surface and support use cases for advanced analytics and AI/ML-driven insights in supply chain planning.
- Serve as the connective tissue across teams, ensuring initiatives align with both business priorities and technical capabilities.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in product management, business applications, or digital transformation roles.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, particularly logistics, vendor management, and cost tracking.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Oracle EBS, Kinaxis, and o9.
- Proven ability to define roadmaps and lead complex projects from conception to rollout.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, tool-specific budgets, and integration strategies.
- Familiarity with data platforms, PLM systems, and analytics tools.
- Mandarin language skills are a plus, particularly for collaboration with teams and vendors in China.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications in supply chain a plus.
- Comfortable working in evolving technical environments with legacy systems.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative, low-ego style that fits well in an inclusive but somewhat siloed organization.
Success in This Role Looks Like:
- Delivering high-impact tools that increase visibility and operational control for supply chain leadership.
- Building trust and alignment with global business partners.
- Successfully leading or contributing to core projects like PLM implementation and CSA tool adoption.
- Laying the foundation for more data-driven, AI-enabled decision-making in the future.
