WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE
The Manager, Business Solutions will sit within our Vendor Management team.
STEP UP is our supplier relationship management program for customer's base, spanning Transformation workstreams and Foundation KPIs tailored to vendor's maturity journey. This role will manage the scorecard cycle, vendor business reviews, and the ongoing evolution of the STEP UP framework.
Equally central to the role is digitalization. You'll partner closely with Black Lake, our smart manufacturing platform provider, connecting shopfloor production data into a real-time operating picture for the organization. You will also proactively drive cross-functional digital initiatives spanning STEP automation, capacity planning, and end-to-end visibility – strengthening our internal digitalization roadmap.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
Vendor Program Management
- Take ownership of the STEP UP vendor management program's ongoing development – building and maintaining scorecard data, and continuing to digitalize the program
- Work with management to define short-term and long-term objectives and quantify potential gains
- Manage projects related to supply chain execution and process improvement across the vendor base
Cross-Functional Digitalization
- Proactively drive cross-functional digitalization initiatives spanning Black Lake, STEP automation, capacity planning, and end-to-end visibility
- Smart Manufacturing – team up with internal stakeholders and external vendor/service provider Black Lake to digitalize shopfloor activities and facilitate real-time collaboration
- Identify opportunities for technology improvement with cross-functional teams, enhance the digitalization of the supply chain, leverage system alignment across the organization, and deliver the financial benefits
Data Analytics & Process Improvement
- Analyze manufacturing data, extract useful statistics and insights, and interpret trends to offer process improvement opportunities that meet business requirements
- Experience identifying process improvement opportunities; assist in developing and optimizing process flows to meet business goals
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- A minimum of 5 years in project management, process improvement, and data analytics, within Asia manufacturing of a high-volume industry, preferably toys
- High proficiency in MS Applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project & Power BI
- Result-driven, logical, with strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proactive, driven to succeed, and able to work independently and under a tight timeline
And we’d love you to…
- Have working knowledge of data visualization applications, e.g., QlikTech, Tableau
- Communicate fluently in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
- Travel to China, Indonesia, Vietnam, and other Asian countries for business trips as needed
Any of the following would be a plus
- Certified PMP
- Prior exposure to AI-enabled tools applied to supply chain or manufacturing data – e.g., RPA, low-code workflow platforms, or GenAI-assisted reporting and analytics
