We are seeking a progressive People Partner to assist in continuing to build a strong foundation in our HR Team, optimizing key areas such as employee relations, employee experience / engagement, talent management and development. We are looking for a hand raiser, unafraid of a challenge. 

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Partner with leaders of designated groups and drive HR initiatives that positively impact the employee experience:  workforce planning and recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, compensation, and culture initiatives
  • Trusted advisor to leaders, managers, and employees providing counsel, guidance, and strategic partnership
  • Work closely with our HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, HR Technology, and Global People Solutions)
  • Support with the performance management process, including mid-year and annual reviews, employee goal setting, and individual career development planning for designated client groups
  • With the support of our Employee Relations Manager, oversee Employee Relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, performance improvement plans, and policy interpretation while ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies.
  • In partnership with Director, People Partner, drive change management initiatives to support organizational growth
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues working with managers on employee development and performance management, coaching etc.
  • Conduct exit interviews, review trends and data and make recommendations based on findings
  • Provide general HR support to all employees across client groups
  • Lead and/or assist with special projects, initiatives, and ad hoc assignments as required

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrable experience gained from working in an HR Business Partner or generalist role (desirable if you have partnered with a client group that is globally distributed)
  • Strong experience in Employee Relations, including conducting investigations, managing performance and disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, grievance handling, employee coaching, and providing guidance to managers on complex people matters. 
  • Solid knowledge and practical application of UK Employment Law/Labour Law, with experience advising managers and employees on employment legislation, policies, procedures, and best practices. Experience supporting multiple jurisdictions EU is highly desirable.
  • A passion for creating a DEI focused, engaging, high-touch employee experience
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using HR metrics to inform decision-making
  • Comfortable handling confidential information in a critical and discrete manner, raising issues appropriately, and sharing your knowledge with other team members
  • Your professionalism is evident; you demonstrate financial mindedness and eye for business
  • This role requires that you to think fast and act precisely. You can lead your own time and prioritize your day based on the most critical needs while demonstrating agility to shift gears
  • Excellent project management skills
