WHY WE THINK YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE
tms are looking to hire an EU People Operations Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the evolution of the People Operations structure, service offering and technology, and shape the roadmap to enable the full People Team to meet growth demands and continue to make improvements to the employee experience.
This is a new role and will report into the Global People Operations Director and be an integral part of the Global People Operations team. This role will have two direct reports. This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to report to our London office two times per week. There may be occasional travel to other office locations, including Duisburg and Chicago.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE AGENCY
Responsibilities
- Accountable for People Operations-owned services across Europe, which includes payroll, pension, compensation, onboarding, immigration, employee database, administration, leaves of absence, relocation, offboarding, Tier 1 ER (Employee Relations), HR compliance and reporting. Countries include UK, France, and Germany.
- Lead the People Operations team across Europe:

- Line management, goal setting, coaching, and mentoring to drive optimal performance and engagement for two People Operations direct reports (UK and Germany based)
- Regularly prioritize and review the team’s workload to create capacity for projects in line with the overall HR strategic roadmap

- In partnership with the Global People Operations Director, the People Leadership Team, Country Heads, and other key stakeholders, manage enterprise projects while maintaining a full European People Operations service in line with global requirements
- Review and update SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to align with changing business needs and re-establish a customer focused and proactive approach across the team.
- Regularly review, and where necessary, develop new processes and policies to ensure legal compliance is adhered to.
- Act as business process lead for the Success Factors HRIS for the EU, partnering with IT, Data teams, North America and Asia/Middle East People Operations to standardize workflows and ensure overall data integrity.
- Management of employee benefits across EU and liaison with Enterprise Total Rewards lead to drive harmonization efforts.
- Create and maintain relevant external supplier relationships and regularly review service against SLAs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key roles in the wider HR team and business such as HRBPs, Regional Leaders, Finance, IT and Legal to ensure you have a deep understanding of business needs and ability to schedule team resources.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality in all the above, ensuring legal and compliance requirements are met (e.g., employment legislation, data protection etc.)
- Support employee immigration and right-to-work matters for UK and European employees, partnering with HR Business Partners, Legal and external advisers to ensure compliant, timely case management.
- Oversee day-to-day administration of UK, France and Germany pension programmes, working with providers, Payroll and Total Rewards to support enrolment, employee queries, compliance requirements and ongoing programme effectiveness.

- Strong relationship building and influencing skills
- Ability to analyse data and create business focused recommendations
- Attention to the detail with a pragmatic approach to solving problems
