WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE

Working as part of the McDonald’s Marketing team, the role focuses on supporting the team in the creation of key marketing campaigns.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the CRM team on a range of marketing campaigns and strategic customer engagement programmes, alongside broader team coordination and administrative support. The role is busy, varied and wide-ranging, offering exposure to a high volume of activity across campaigns including Food & Beverages, Family, Brand, Trust and Digital.

You will play an important role in enabling the team to operate effectively, contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day activity. From reviewing creative and collating strategic feedback, to organising team meetings and working closely with agency partners, no two days are the same.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a fast-paced, high-profile business, and we are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join as Campaign Executive.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE AGENCY

This provides a fantastic opportunity for someone proactive and organised, with enthusiasm and strong attention to detail to kick start their career in marketing and learn from one of the most iconic brands in the world. A passion for the McDonald’s business is a must, and whilst project management and administrative skills represent the crux of the role, developing an eye for strong creative work will become increasingly important as the role progresses.

Digging deeper on the details

  • Test and quality-check campaign assets (including HTML and journeys), ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the evolution of personalised customer programmes by reviewing performance, identifying insights, and applying learnings to future planning.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Comms) and agency partners, confidently leading conversations to secure alignment, feedback and approvals.
  • Proactively manage timelines, identifying potential risks or blockers and working collaboratively to find solutions to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Support team coordination and leadership priorities, including meeting organisation, pre-read collation and general team administration.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the broader customer strategy, considering how individual campaigns and programmes align to drive meaningful engagement and influence customer behaviour.
  • Build deep knowledge of brand principles and how these translate into effective, compliant customer communications.
  • Grow in the role over time, with the opportunity to take on end-to-end ownership of selected campaigns.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, with confidence working across multiple stakeholders and agency partners.
  • A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn, with an openness to feedback and a desire to continuously develop.
  • The ability to balance attention to detail with a broader, strategic perspective — understanding how work contributes to customer outcomes and business goals.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work within a highly regulated environment and ensure accuracy across all outputs.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
