Assistant Project Development Manager will sit within our Global Merchandise Services (GMS) team. GMS helps brands bring their fan communities products that unleash badge-wearing potential, so the people who love them most can love them even more.

Job Responsibilities
- Accountability for project start from design brainstorming, costing, product development from vendor turnover to shipments end.
- Function as a teammate of project team to establish, coordinating and monitoring project objectives with the teams (US/UK & HK). Clearly understand the quality and schedule objectives.
- Proactively maintain development timeline through communication with team, US/UK & HK, & production vendors.
- Revise the product functional requirements with US/UK/HK team if needed and assure requirements are meet
- Performs quality and timely product debug with vendor, tool maker through 1st shot, EP samples, feasibility samples and signed samples till safety, functional requirement are approved by client and licensor, safety lab.
- Monitors production start-up conditions at manufacturing vendors, and responds to inspection or intervention failures.

Qualifications/Experience/Quality
- A minimum of (5) years' experience hands-on experience in product development in toys, premium industry.
- Knowledge of plastic resin, fabric material, tooling and mechanical design in toys and consumer products
- Knowledge of international toy safety requirements
- Strong business acumen & influence skills. Excellent negotiation skills.
- Great communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
- Can work well individually and willing to be a team player
- Good written and spoken in English & Cantonese.
Education:
- Higher diploma or university graduate in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering
