We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our team and be a key player in driving our business & supporting our client McDonald’s within the dedicated markets on packaging as well as growth categories. 
Your primary objective is to provide exceptional service that aligns seamlessly with both tms and McDonald's overarching strategic framework . This role is client facing and you would join a small and dynamic team which is part of a larger, globally operating company.

The Senior Account Manager leads directly the packaging projects in GCC markets for our client McDonald’s and acts as senior client management tms’ interface for the whole MEA region with the support of an account manager.  This role’s key objectives is to make sure packaging projects are seamlessly managed and our value is constantly delivered to our clients in MEA together with a team of one direct report.
This role is based in tms’ Dubai office.
The individual in this role will join a highly motivated team in charge of managing the packaging of one of the biggest world’s brand, at a moment in time where meeting challenges around packaging and sustainability improvements has never been so important.
•    Identify and meet customer needs and increase perceived tms’ value.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with the key stake holders internally and externally.
•    Lead and develop the local team
•    Understand and proactively support customer business strategies.  
•    Constantly seek best packaging solutions to answer the needs of our client.
•    Regularly review and challenge common processes and propose improvements.
•    Ensure assured packaging supply and manage day to day requirements 
•    Lead multiple packaging projects
•    Keep clear overview of all activities happening and issue regular reports and presentations.

 

 

DETAILED ACTIVITIES

Client Relationship Management    - Serve as the key point of contact for McDonald’s on all packaging-related matters. 
- Provide regular updates and project visibility to McDonald’s teams.
Project Management    - Lead packaging initiatives from briefing to execution, ensuring alignment with McDonald’s strategic goals. 
- Track and manage project timelines, deliverables, and approvals.
Internal Cross-Functional Alignment    - Coordinate with internal departments (e.g. supply chain, regulatory, artwork, commercial) to ensure successful project delivery. 
- Ensure stakeholders are aligned on priorities and progress.
Artwork & Technical Oversight    - Oversee artwork development and approval in accordance with McDonald’s processes. 
- Ensure packaging specs, mandatories, and print guidelines are followed accurately.
Market Execution Support (GCC)    - Support packaging execution across REZA, RICC, and all GCC markets. 
- Work with local distribution centers (DCs), marketing, and operations teams on packaging trials, rollouts, and transitions.
Sustainability & Regulatory Compliance    - Ensure packaging initiatives comply with McDonald’s global sustainability goals and local regulatory requirements.
Inventory & Transition Planning    - Align with internal teams to manage old inventory and ensure smooth transitions to new packaging. 
- Provide oversight on stock depletion plans and avoid surplus.
Cost & Value Optimization    - Collaborate with supply chain teams to drive cost efficiencies without compromising brand or quality.
Reporting & Documentation    - Maintain clear tracking of project status, decisions, and approvals.
- Provide structured updates to both McDonald’s and internal leadership and internally teams associated with the market.

•    Provide regular feedback: to your line manager and align with them on strategic decisions.
