About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Product Manager to join our team in Chicago to lead the digital product initiatives within the Packaging and Indirects Category. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities across geographies, and is passionate about delivering impactful digital product solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and other cross-functional partners to define our product strategy and deliver innovative digital products that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders across geographies to gather, prioritize, and align on business needs, with a focus on digitization and AI enablement.
- Develop comprehensive business cases in partnership with business leads to support new initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications for product engineering teams.
- Work closely with product engineering teams, both internal and external, to ensure successful implementation of product features.
- Document and analyze business process flows to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Drive initiatives that span multiple disparate software platforms and systems.
- Lead, conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions against business requirements.
- Own and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery of milestones.
- Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage product development cycles effectively.
- Act as the voice of the customer and business throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management or a related role; 10+ years experience overall.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and developing comprehensive business cases, with focus on articulating clear value propositions.
- Proven experience writing detailed product requirements and user stories.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Teams, JIRA, Confluence, Air Table or similar Agile project management platforms.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment (2–3 days onsite in Chicago office).
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, including maintaining sprint backlogs and participating in backlog grooming sessions.
- Experience in the Supply Chain business domain.
- Familiarity with Specright, iValua, Air Table, Spend Forecasting tools, Capacity. And Contingency planning tools, etc.
- Certification in Agile/Scrum/Management (e.g., CSPO, PMI-ACP) or Supply Chain Management (SCMP)
Starting salary between $170,000 - $190,000
