Today we’re looking for a passionate and eager Designer to join our growing tms team while helping us push and evolve the designs of our client’s business.
Digging a little deeper…
As Designer, you’ll be joining a creative team focused on pushing the boundaries of creativity and design across all our work. Working closely with the Sr. Art Director you’ll get the opportunity to bring your exceptional design skills to the work daily — mixing type, imagery and art into dynamic and powerful executions spanning digital, print, social, video and more.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
- Support the ideation team (Sr. AD and Sr. Writer)
- Create mood boards, visual design keys, and viz ID for campaign/program ideas
- Build and help generate comps for additional program elements
- Build and resize design assets for final delivery
- Generate multiple/look & feels for campaigns that demonstrate diversity in the thinking
- Passion and ability to clearly present your work; you are articulate and can advocate design rationale and inspiration through story telling
- Take great direction with a willingness to bring fresh, new thinking while also challenging yourself and the work
- Readily give and receive constructive feedback
- Work closely with the CD/AD to help pull the work together in slick presentations (PowerPoint)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- Degree in Visual Design, User Interface Design, Digital Design or related field.
- 2+ years at a creative agency with portfolio demonstrating strong digital design capabilities and digital knowledge for sites, mobile, PR, OLA, etc.
- Information design and systems thinking – working within and developing brand standards and understanding how to bring consistency and excitement to brands across all touchpoints.
- Ideally some experience in finance or fintech related design.
- Experience and/or background in launching promotions.
- Solid understanding of Adobe Suite of products (Strong in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Interest and experience in emerging generative image tech (e.g. Midjourney).
- Ability to design fast, be nimble, and adapt to different design styles.
- In-depth knowledge of visual design fundamentals, including but not limited to typography, color theory and balance, layout and grids, visual hierarchy, photography, iconography, illustration.
- Strong understanding of industry design trends
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize competing demands.
- An outstanding eye for detail, and the know how to collaborate seamlessly with fellow creatives, account, and strategy in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- A passion for staying in-touch with the latest design trends and an obsession over everything design and how it plays a part in life and culture.
- Some experience or background in web design (XD, Figma and/or prototyping is a plus).
Starting salary between $70,000-$80,000
