WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
This role will work closely with a talented creative team on the conceptualization and storytelling of Point-of-Purchase materials. As an integral part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, you will drive the narrative of physical and digital online marketing materials, engaging audiences with your wit, humor, and storytelling capabilities.
- Support and own the creative process from original concept to final implementation
- Interpret briefs to conceptualize big ideas that are strategically driven and compelling for Point-of-Purchase
- Collaborate with internal teams to create powerful and compelling concepts that align with strategic copy direction and brand parameters
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding and working knowledge of the client's business, brand, consumer, and competitive landscape to inform insightful brand experiences
- Empathy for diversity and the ability to adapt ideas to reach people authentically
- Prioritize and organize messages into logical hierarchies for Point-of-Purchase materials
- Present creative concepts internally and externally, while backing them up with powerful rationale
- Provide quality assurance, accuracy, and accountability throughout the process
- Help lead and mentor junior talent to ensure projects remain on task and on strategy
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- 4+ years of copy/concept experience in Point-of-Purchase materials at a creative agency
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with a positive, helpful, and team-focused mentality
- Experience in copywriting and guiding the user through an experience with directional, yet engaging copy for Point-of-Purchase materials
- Understanding of writing copy that is ADA compliant - using language that's deemed accessible to all
- Impeccable attention to detail and firm grasp of English grammar
- Is a purveyor of pop culture, with a strong understanding of consumer behaviors, cultural trends, and digital platforms
- Strong portfolio with examples of recent digital projects demonstrating creative thinking, idea-driven interaction, and compelling storytelling for Point-of-Purchase materials
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work with Art Directors, Motion Artists, and Copywriters to execute and deliver fun and engaging Point-of-Purchase materials
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and oversee the day-to-day work of associate creatives
- Ability to think strategically and ensure ideas and designs ladder up to the strategy and assignment of the brief for Point-of-Purchase materials
- Ability to collaborate with Art Directors to concept supporting visuals that will help tell your story from storyboards to final execution.
Starting salary between $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 USD
