Associate Manager, Brand Partnerships & Licensing will sit within our Brand Partnerships team.  

McDonald’s is a global icon. A truly amazing brand recognized the world over.  
However, with increased competition, tough economic times, increased consumer demand for sustainable solutions and competitors copying the winning Happy Meal formula, McDonald’s now has to deliver beyond the traditional toy in a box with more exciting, innovative and inspiring programs & products.  

Happy Meal is finding a new identity within not only the family eating out sector but also the ever-changing family dynamics, where the partner & product needs to be innovative, reactive, socially conscious, and sustainably focused.  

As the agency of record for McDonalds Family Business, TMS is at the forefront of this innovative path and is working to sculpt the partnership and toy landscape for the modern family.  

This unique role’s primary focus will be to support the Happy Meal Brand Partnerships team and the Manager, Brand Partnerships & Licensing (who you will report into) in driving projects from licensing and planning  

You will be at the heart of Happy Meal process, supporting the development of BIG Ideas, partner sourcing and program development. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION 

As aAssociate Manager, Brand Partnerships & Licensing you will be looking to develop your knowledge and experience within a buzzing and forward-thinking business.  

We want you to bring a positive and enthusiastic approach to the role, be prepared to challenge and ask questions, stretch the strengths you already have, learn new skills and above all be ready to have fun!   

With this rile your main responsibilities will be:  

 

  • Support building the Brand Partnerships Department – focusing on trend spotting and a deep understanding of the key industries that we work on.
    • Support on gathering data and insights to develop strategic reporting materials (internal & external) to educate and share knowledge and how this impacts our business.
  • Support during Planning Process working with:
    • Internal stakeholders (agency partners & team membersmilestones & deliverables 
    • Support with data & insights in continuing to position tms as the key stakeholder when it comes to industry expertise.
    • Booking in meetings, managing agendas, and taking minutes 
    • Create and manage multi-disciplinary timelines for all global HM projects, working with delivery leads to ensure they are accurate, achievable, aligned and updated. 

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE  

+2 years of relevant experience in Project Management and/or Account Management.

  • You will have a process driven mind-set – able to work within guidelines and to tight timelines  

  • You will have experience of projects with complex dependencies and/or multi-disciplinary outputs.  

  • You will be curious and want to get into the detail. You will want to understand and be motivated to help resolve stakeholder challenges.  

  • Excellent digital literacy and computer skills, especially with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

 

 

Any of the following would be a plus  

  • Experience working on a global team 

  • Familiarity with online database platforms and tools to support data management 

 

Starting salary between $62,500 - $72,500
