WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE

As Account Director, you’ll be the day-to-day lead for Conair within our Client Services / Account Management team—owning the partnership, guiding cross-functional delivery, and keeping fast-moving programs on track across Digital Experience / Strategy, Creative, Production, Studio, Ops, and Analytics.

You’ll start by shaping an end-to-end PDP operating model — partnering with Conair stakeholders and internal department leads to translate scope into clear briefs, timelines, and outputs (e.g., category/competitive audits, SEO/GEO keyword direction, content hierarchy, copy and visual direction, testing processes, post-production delivery, PIM/DAM coordination, and performance reporting). If you love building momentum, creating clarity, and shipping high-quality work at scale, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION

Client leadership & scope ownership

  • Own the Conair relationship day-to-day — growing relationships across the organization, finding new avenues for supporting the business, defining working relationships across internal cross-functional disciplines, aligning stakeholders, documenting decisions, and ensuring fast escalation/clear resolution when priorities shift.
  • Translate SOW scope into actionable plans: clear briefs, deliverable definitions, milestones, dependencies, and approvals for PDP strategy/DEX, creative and copy, production, ops/governance, and analytics reporting.
  • Manage and mentor an Account Executive — delegating tasks, setting clear priorities, reviewing work for accuracy/quality, and supporting growth across client communications, meeting notes, timelines, and deliverable tracking.
  • Manage commercial hygiene: track burn, forecast resourcing, support PO/invoicing readiness, and protect team focus by keeping scope, assumptions, and change requests explicit.

Cross-functional delivery for PDP programs

  • Partner with Strategy/DEX and Analytics to deliver PDP inputs and outputs such as category/competitive audits, product strategy POVs, SEO/GEO research, content hierarchy, keyword sets, measurement plans, and regular performance reporting.
  • Guide Creative/Content delivery from brief to approval: PDP visual direction/comps, PDP template direction, SEO/GEO-optimized page copy, and Vizit A/B testing and validation—ensuring work is on-brand, on-strategy, and on-time.
  • Coordinate Production, Studio, and Ops to move assets through post and delivery: production oversight, retouching and color correction, versioning, DAM organization, and PIM/DAM upload coordination with strong QA and content governance.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • 7+ years in client services / account management within an agency, consultancy, or marketing/commerce environment, with ownership of complex scopes and senior client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to run large, multi-workstream production programs—managing briefs, dependencies, approvals, risk, and timelines across Strategy/DEX, Creative/Content, Production/Studio, Ops, and Analytics.
  • Comfort in commerce/PDP work: aligning teams on outputs like audits and strategy POVs, SEO/GEO direction, content hierarchy and keyword sets, PDP copy and visual direction, testing/validation (e.g., Vizit), and operational delivery via PIM/DAM workflows.
  • Experience managing and developing junior account talent (e.g., an Account Executive or Account Coordinator), including delegation, coaching, and quality control across project admin, client communications, and deliverable readiness.

 And we’d love you to…

  • Be an operator and a partner: bring structure to ambiguous asks, create repeatable templates/processes, and help the team move faster without sacrificing quality.
  • Lead with clarity and calm: proactively flag risks, align stakeholders quickly, and coach teams through tight timelines, high volume, and shifting priorities.

Any of the following would be a plus

  • Hands-on experience with Amazon PDPs and retail/e-commerce ecosystems (e.g., Amazon, Ulta, Target), including content standards, image requirements, and performance levers.
  • Experience partnering with or operating within PXM/PIM/DAM environments (e.g., Salsify and/or DAM governance), and comfort coordinating asset metadata, usage rights, QA, and publishing workflows.

Starting salary between $112,000-$118,000
