Market Manager is responsible for the successful integration of all project management, supply planning, financial, timeline, logistics, distribution, importing / exporting requirements, and communication aspects of promotions as it relates to the Happy Meal toy and other promotional type executions for the individual markets managed.
In addition, will support our Marketing Gatekeeper to ensure the markets support the corporate direction related to calendar execution/management, creative artwork, and point of purchase.
Will support our Supply Chain Gatekeeper to ensure the markets support the corporate direction related to importation/exportation, consumer law, inventory, and cost avoidance/savings.
Will oversee all elements related to the point of purchase needs and promotional project which includes the timeline, budget development and management, spend analysis, control and reporting.
Working with the manager/director, will be responsible for establishing protocols and processes to support the business needs for both TMS and the customer(s).
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
Management / Client Management
- Key customer interface and TMS representative for the Happy Meal business.
- Develop and maintain strong business working relationships with key Arcos Dorados Representatives (corp. and market), non-Arcos DL’s, and suppliers.
- Ensure customer needs are identified and addressed from calendar planning to a promotions’ execution to market importations/exportations and safety/consumer law requirements.
- Provide solutions/guidance to the market’s calendar and shipment challenges.
- Provide solutions/guidance to the market’s inventory situation (high or low).
- Assist in managing the promotional inventory and report quantities in a timely manner (as necessary).
- Ensure continued alignment of TMS’ roles, processes, and responsibilities with the client.
- Ensure company accounts receivables are current and/or have clearly articulated reason for the non-compliance situation, the impact, and the correct action(s).
- Manage client complaints and discrepancies and lead resolution.
- May need to work during off-hours to ensure client needs are addressed and/or deliverables are met.
- Support the Packaging business as needed.
Artwork Management and Production
- Manage customer and TMS expectations with Supplier.
- Ensure product and suppliers meet McD’s approved supplier requirements.
- Manage production schedule, expedites, product instructions for end user and local producers.
- Management of supplier’s Accounts Receivable / Payable.
- Creative Management: Key member of a team consisting of AD marketing, creative agency, advertising agency and supplier.
- Manage supplier/creative Pre-Pro meetings and changes/approvals.
- Develop and manage the MDUI budget, gain gatekeeper approval of annual budget, approve invoices and lead review meetings with finance and management.
- Manage posting of HM carton artwork for Latam producers.
Disney Supplier Alliance
- Ensure Latam suppliers’ Disney certification is maintained current.
- Onboard new suppliers to the Disney standards and maintenance requirements.
- Liaison between client, Disney, and the supplier
Perform other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- Fluent in English and Spanish (both written & oral); Portuguese a plus
- Prior role in “Latam Program Mgmt” preferred
- 7-10 years business experience (Account / Brand or Project Management)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Prior 3rd Party Supplier Management experience a plus
- Budget / Planning responsibilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Account Management, B2B Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business admin, international studies, or program mgmt.
